Since the creation of this theme it’s been over a year..
This is my experience of how much music is able to change the state of mind. You wrote about its ability to calm hearts, rejecting grief, diminish suffering and sorrow. Indeed, he dismissed also my fears. And on the thorny road of sadness started to appear sparkling lights of hope..
Chillout is the version I created for the film, which currently I can not say too much. It is a instrumental version, I used the vocals, piano, orchestral strings and ambient sounds.

طيب نظريا كده كل ما بنعيش اكتر بتتكون عندنا ذكريات توجعنا فى فترة اخرى جاية جاية
طب ليه متستمرش الذكريات و تبقى واقع دائم مثلا ؟
و هل انا بس من النوع ده اللى بيتأثر بالذكريات بالشكل المأسوى ده ؟
فى فترة معينة فى حياتى مكنتش متوقعة ابدا انها تحصل او حتى مكنتش من ضمن امنيات عندى , بس حصلت و اتعلقت بيها و حبيت كل تفاصيلها و اتمنيت فعلا تفضل حياتى كده … ده حتى انا كنت فاكرة انها حياتى هتفضل كده بقى و بدأت احلم عل اساس ده ..
المرادى انا كنت متعشمة اوى و م مخونة بمعنى اصح..
طلع كله وهم و الحد اللى تتعود عليه و يحلم معاك و يشجعك و يعوضك عن جزء مظلم فى حياتك هو اللى سابك فجأة من غير مقدمات فى نص الطريق من غير حتى ما يعرفك هتكمل ازاى الباقى و لا هتفضل واقف كده !
كل حاجة منكرش ان كان ليها طعم و معنى حقيقى , حتى انا كنت بحس ان ليا هدف, كنت ببقى فخورة بنفسى
انا فعلا مكنتش فاكرة ان ده هيحصل

Not just that, but we chose a song that means so much to the both of us “Wenti Mastaneti.” A dialogue between a man in love and a woman that won’t “wait” or give it a chance. I’ve wanted to cover this song for so long, and now it happened! I also want to say that it was such a memorable experience for me to do my first duet with someone as talented, kind-hearted, hard-working and creative as Osama.
